LHS Students learn how to solve real-world problems with programming

Professor Steve Sheehy (EOU) visited Dr. Roberts' dual-credit Computer Science II class and discussed the bird listening devices he created to identify birds in the wild. The devices may be placed throughout the county to capture and present data on local birds. The data may be used by several disciples taught at EOU. The visit helped LHS students better understand how the programming languages they've been learning can be used to solve real-world problems.
