What will the first week look like?

The first week will be devoted to connecting with families. During the first week each teacher will be contacting a few families each day to introduce themselves to you, explain the daily schedule, attendance, expectations, how to contact them, and provide a practice online meeting so you are comfortable logging on to google meetings.  Expect to receive a phone call, email, or Class Dojo message from your class teacher soon.

CDL Daily Schedule:

Instruction will begin the second week of school and is from 8:00am to 12:00pm, 4 days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri) with Wednesday being devoted to providing interventions to students.

Lunch:

During Comprehensive Distance Learning, lunch will be served at all three elementary schools from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.  This year, meals are free for students in grades K - 8.  Any LGSD student may pick up their lunch at any of the three elementary schools.  Must provide school ID number.  Your teacher can provide this information to you.

How will your needs be met?

Administration, Teachers, specialists, interventionists, paras, and support staff will all pitch in to ensure our students and their family needs are met.  Every afternoon will be devoted to planning, uploading instructional videos, providing small group instruction, tutoring, and checking in with families.  If you have a need, please inform your teacher.
